Hike & Create is built around the principle that the experience comes first, and great content follows. We've crafted the most insane itinerary you could possibly do in the Dolomites. These huts are booked out months in advance, so finding space to do this for our whole group is truly a unique experience. We'll share how we actually create content and spend real time with each of you helping you capture your best moments along the way. More than anything, this is about bringing together a group of like-minded, young and enthusiastic people who love being in the mountains and are genuinely inspired to create.
DAY 1
Afternoon
Arrive in Bolzano and make your way to ArtNatur Dolomites, our hotel for the first night, tucked at the foot of the mountains. Drop your bags, settle into your room, and get your kit sorted for the days ahead. We'll run through the route, the plan, and the best spots to shoot along the way.
Evening
A relaxed group dinner together at the hotel, included, to kick things off. No pressure and no early start you're not ready for, tonight is just about meeting the ten people you'll share the next five days with.
Content workshop
Sam, Elias & Kajsa run a short workshop on how we actually create content and approach social media in 2026, plus resources and tips to use across the whole trip.
Good to know
We'll share exact meeting-point details and timings in the group chat once your place is confirmed, so you can plan your travel with plenty of time.
DAY 2
Morning
Breakfast in Bolzano, then we head up to Seiser Alm (Alpe di Siusi), the largest high-alpine meadow in Europe and where the hike begins. Rolling green pastures with the Sciliar and Sassolungo behind you, it's wide open, cinematic, and pretty much impossible to shoot badly.
Afternoon
We climb steadily towards the Tierser Alpl saddle, the jagged Rosszähne spires pulling closer with every switchback. Relaxed, content-friendly pace with stops at all the best vantage points, no rushing, no route march.
Evening
Roll into Rifugio Alpe di Tires (2,440m) in the afternoon, perched right under the spires. Drop your bags, then head out for sunset as the walls glow pink, the Dolomites' famous enrosadira. Dinner together at the hut.
DAY 3
Morning
Early risers can catch sunrise from the saddle as first light sets the peaks alight, some of the best photos of the trip happen before breakfast. Then we eat at the hut and head deeper into the eastern Catinaccio, crossing high passes with the range unfolding around us.
Afternoon
We drop into the Vallon d'Antermoia and reach Lago di Antermoia, one of the highest and most beautiful lakes in the Dolomites, electric-turquoise water under sheer walls. We get there mid-afternoon, so there's plenty of time to swim, hang out, and shoot what might be the best backdrop of the whole trip.
Evening
A short climb up to Rifugio Antermoia (2,496m), a rustic stone refuge right by the lake. Sunset over the water, then dinner together at the hut.
DAY 4
Morning
Sunrise over the lake for anyone who's up for it, then breakfast before the biggest climb of the trip, straight up into the very heart of the Rosengarten. Today is the high point of the route in every sense.
Afternoon
We traverse beneath the Vajolet Towers, three of the most photographed spires on earth, and up to the Santner Pass. We reach Santner Pass Hütte (2,734m), our highest night, in the afternoon, with loads of time to shoot the towers as the light turns gold.
Evening
Sunset from the pass is unreal, a full panorama across the Dolomites and out to the Swiss and Austrian Alps. Dinner together above the clouds.
DAY 5
Morning
One last Dolomites sunrise from the pass, easily worth the early alarm. Breakfast together, then we start the descent back down through the valley, taking it slow and grabbing the final shots of the range behind us.
Afternoon
We wind down through the Vajolet valley and out to Vigo di Fassa, where a taxi takes the whole group back to Bolzano so you can safely head off to wherever you're going next. After five days on the trail you'll be leaving with ten new friends and a camera roll full of the best content you've ever made.
Note
All times are at a relaxed, content-friendly pace with plenty of stops along the way. We never rush.

Night 4
2,734m · Rosengarten, South Tyrol
Our highest and most dramatic night, a striking, award-winning rebuilt hut perched right on the Santner Pass in the heart of the Rosengarten, opposite the Vajolet Towers. The panorama stretches from the Latemar all the way to the Swiss and Austrian Alps. Waking up here is unforgettable.
Hey, we are Elias & Kajsa! For the past 7 years we've lived full-time off our cameras, travelling for a living and spending most of our year in our van exploring the mountains of Norway and the Alps. The Dolomites are a place we come back to again and again, and this route through the Catinaccio is one of the most spectacular corners of them all. We love meeting like-minded people who are up for an adventure and want to explore the creative side of life, and we can't wait to share it with you.
Hey, I'm Sam! I've dedicated the past few years of my life to exploring every corner of the Alps, I know the place like the back of my hand. The Dolomites are somewhere I keep coming back to, and there's a reason for that! I'm so excited to share these mountains with you, swim in some alpine lakes and create some insane content with you!

Travel Insurance (Required)

We all meet in Bolzano on Day 1. It's the easiest place in the region to reach: a central train station with plenty of connecting trains, and even a direct bus line up towards the hotel. To keep things simple, we arrange group transport from Bolzano straight to ArtNatur Dolomites at 2:00pm on arrival day, so just aim to be in Bolzano by early afternoon.
Which airport: The best options are Bolzano, Innsbruck, Milan Bergamo and Verona. Bolzano sits on the main Brenner line between Innsbruck and Verona, so from any of these airports you can reach Bolzano easily by train.
Once your place is confirmed we'll share the exact hotel and meeting details and help everyone coordinate travel in the group chat, plenty of people team up on the way in.
Getting home: On the final day we descend into the Val di Fassa and take a group taxi back to Bolzano, so you finish where you started and can plan your onward travel from there.
The route is moderate, suitable for anyone with a good fitness level and a head for heights. These are well-marked Dolomites trails with no technical climbing required, though we are up at altitude (the huts sit between 2,400m and 2,750m) so there is real up and down each day. We hike at a relaxed, content-friendly pace with plenty of stops. Day 1 is an easy arrival day, Days 2–4 are full days on the trail between huts, and Day 5 is mostly downhill. If you can comfortably walk uphill for a few hours with a day pack, you'll be fine.
Yes. Our welcome hotel near Bolzano (Night 1) has proper hot showers, and all three mountain huts, Rifugio Alpe di Tires, Rifugio Antermoia and Santner Pass Hütte, have hot showers available too, usually for a few euros. Pack a small travel towel and a good attitude, hut showers are quick and simple, but they do the job after a day on the trail.
Not at all. The most important thing is that you're good vibes and open to the pace of the trip, if others want to stop and create, you're cool with it. The experience always comes first. Great content is the natural byproduct of showing up fully. Whether you have 500 followers or 500K, you're welcome here.
We recommend bringing a lightweight sleeping bag liner, it's small, light, and ensures you're comfortable at altitude. The huts provide blankets, but a liner keeps things cosy. A full sleeping bag is not necessary.
The Dolomites use Euros (€). Budget roughly €120–200 across the five days to cover lunch each day (~€15–25), any drinks, and extras. Cable cars on the route are included in your trip cost. Cards are widely accepted at the huts, but having some cash on you is always useful up in the mountains.
Once your application is accepted, we'll send you a secure payment link. To confirm your spot we ask for the full trip price of €2,850, there's no separate deposit. All the details will be included in your acceptance email.
Yes, you're welcome to apply together. Just mention each other in your applications. We can't guarantee both spots as we're carefully curating the group, but we'll do our best. If one of you is accepted and the other isn't, we'll let you know straightaway.
Once your place is confirmed, we'll add you to a group chat where we'll share everything you need, packing lists, meeting point details, what to expect on each day, and any last-minute updates. You'll never be left wondering what's happening.
The trip is open to anyone 18 and over. Most of our community falls in the 20s and 30s bracket, and we're looking for people who are enthusiastic, positive, and genuinely excited to be in the mountains, attitude matters far more than age.
Our first night near Bolzano is in comfortable beds to ease everyone in. Up on the trail, the mountain rifugios use shared dormitory-style rooms, this is part of the authentic alpine experience, though some also have smaller private rooms. We sort the sleeping arrangements together as a group. Come prepared for mountain hut life, it's cosy, social, and genuinely one of the best parts of the trip.
No specific experience is required, but you should be comfortable walking uphill for a few hours with a day pack. The route is moderate for the Dolomites, with well-marked trails and no technical climbing, just real alpine terrain at altitude. We move at a relaxed pace with plenty of stops. If you exercise regularly and enjoy being outdoors, you'll be absolutely fine.
Your place is confirmed once we receive full payment. If you cancel more than 16 days before the trip (before 26 August 2026), you'll receive a full refund. If you cancel within 16 days of the trip (on or after 26 August 2026), you'll receive 50% of the trip price back. In the unlikely event we have to cancel the trip, you'll receive a full refund within 14 days. We strongly recommend travel insurance that includes trip cancellation cover.
Yes, travel insurance with mountain rescue cover is required for all participants. This is non-negotiable. Mountain rescue in the Dolomites can cost thousands of euros and we cannot take responsibility for anyone who is not adequately covered. Make sure your policy includes hiking at altitude and helicopter evacuation if needed. We recommend sorting this as soon as your place is confirmed.
Only 8 spots available, Free to Apply :)
September 11–15, 2026 · Dolomites, Italy
We receive a lot of applications and work hard to bring together the best possible group. If we have a spot for you, we'll reach out via WhatsApp.
Accepted applicants will be asked to pay the full €2,850 to secure their place.
By applying you confirm that you are in good physical health, have adequate experience for moderate mountain terrain, and will arrange your own travel and mountain rescue insurance before the trip. Sam, Elias & Kajsa are content creators, not licensed alpine guides. Participation in mountain activities involves inherent risks and each participant is responsible for their own safety throughout.
